MrGreen

Hello Francis, the crest of Piancaformia is what you see on the right .. I have the photo taken at the end of the "Wall of Comolli" going along "normal" winter starts from Valsassina (going from Rif.Pialeral)! :-) As there is a simpler way (though soooo long!) And even this last part of the ridge leading to the summit is "quiet" .. even if the photo does not seem so! :-D

Very nice compo with the line drawn from the crest and good conversion to b / w. I find it just a little bit contrived the side not illuminated, you probably had to undergo a significant recovery of the shadows.

ps: Grazie Mattia!!Sorriso

Prisma Hello, thank you .. probably "working" a bit on some flaw photos came out, although the final effect I do not mind ;-)

ps: Thank you Matt! :-)

Ottimo scatto!

Excellent shot!
A top very familiar to me but I did not recognize as winter :-|

Grazie Maia!
Ermanno

Thanks Maia! :-) .. You are more than justified since even I'm used to seeing the Grignone in a form much more "peaceful"! :-D
But winter .. (and a bit of effort) help to give a decidedly different! ;-)

Una prospettiva esagerata !
In BW non è male ..
Chissà a colori che resa ... :-)

An exaggerated perspective!
In BW is not bad ..
I wonder colors that made ... :-)

L'avevo riconosciutra!!!! Sorriso

Ciao.

Luca

I had riconosciutra!! :-)

So, congratulations to:
1) the climb, the Wailing Wall, from the crest Comolli is .... terrible! In particular, if there is snow and wet.
2) to the point of shooting, original, you have been able to find
3) the composition
4) the choice of b / n in this case from what dramatic (not exaggerated) that's fine.

Hello.

Luca

Sorriso

I really like the composition guide to the top! Also good processing in black and white. :-)

Ciao!
Gianni

Very beautiful, technically ... very beautiful and the feeling of old that 'so b & w, mountaineering of the heroic times, hemp rope leather boots and corduroy pants ...
Hello!

- Ciao Caterina e Dready, grazie!MrGreen

- Hello Catherine and Dready, thank you! :-D
- Hello Integra .. This is the best I saw in BN! ;-)
- Hello Chiodofisso, thank you! :-) Say that the second point depends on the first .. after the rise of the "wall" (among other things without much training :-() I took some time to recover and then I could not find this interesting perspective! Fortunately the snow was not great, and (since we are parties very soon) held enough .. downhill instead, since the heat unnatural, had become a "paciugo"!
Hello John, thank you! .. In fact is true .. knows a little old .. and at the bottom is a "classic" Lombard! ;-)

Grande scenario e grande foto Sorriso

Exemplary composition with lines that lead the eye to the top. And I do not mind the whiteness of the summit, in fact I consider optimal in the general context. And then the human figures there are a gem!
Great scenery and great photo :-)
