, 15 sec f/2.8, ISO 1000, tripod. Passo Giau, Italy.

Beyond the photo, stupermaking for the balance of lights, I like the story of its realization. Great!

Could you give me some info in private on how to do it? I was there on Saturday and Photopills gave me the galactic center exactly in front of the Ra Gusela and so I gave up :-(

I believe that at the time (5 years ago) I did not even have photopills :-D I had gone there with my girlfriend and two friends of mine to take pictures and I didn't know I was going to find the Milky Way right there. We arrived late at night, around 2 and something if I remember correctly. To tell the truth the Milky Way was very high, 90 degrees above us, so much so that in reality the galactic center here is on the left .. had we arrived a few hours earlier I could not have done it because it would have been completely on the other side. Being at 90 degrees I tried to include all keeping the shots of the sky flush with the ground at 14mm and I got this result.
