Yes, Nicholas, I'm not sure why that is/was - I actually did sharpen that corner up quite a lot, too. (As well rest of image, due to flat and very hazy original image) Whether it's a lens decentering fault, but which does not always manifest itself, I do not know - I do know that the lens is due to be replaced as soon as I can afford to! Older Sigma lenses are not known for their perfect quality control and consistency.
Thanks anyway for the Like as some effort was taken getting the shot and not one I can retake for many years to come! |

I would add that the very foreground in that corner is soft as it is out of focus, such is the limited depth of field at 400mm, even at f10. |
