Escher exploring unconsciously sent on July 17, 2017 (15:19) by Fabrizio Fortuna. 38 comments, 2940 views.

, f/5.6, ISO 200, tripod.

Nothing happens by chance..
Calling coincidences .. fatality ...
Now: steps that without knowing Escher I wanted to stop in the same spot to immortalize the landscape, but to grumble, after 80 years, the same epic sky has an absurd!

But You had to be there ...
What a spectacular shot ..
What a small town perched ..
Then you also call "Fortune" ..

Fabrizio, a really beautiful photo, well executed both as a composition and as a management of light / shadows and colors. Very nice also the story ... the fact that you've been walking the same "Escher street" can also be a shot of luck (it's also a question of last name ...) but the photo you took and you are very beautiful. Compliments. Hi Gabriele

Congratulations for the photo of Castrovalva (and all the others!) and the caption callout ;-)
Your clouds seem more menacing than those of Escher...
It would be interesting to recover the many Italian locations, predominantly of the center-south, immortalized in the youthful works of Escher.
of near I have only this lithography of a way of Savona:
