Tra qualche mese, dopo ventitre anni passati sulle navi, sbarchero'... ho girato in lungo e largo quasi mezzo mondo tra Asia, Africa ed Europa, sono approdato in circa quaranta stati e quasi cento città estere.... ho accumulato esperienze che non dimenticherò mai, che mi hanno fatto crescere.... ma soprattutto ho visto cose che mi hanno radicalmente cambiato e fatto capire che sono un uomo molto fortunato.... Quello che più mi mancherà sarà il punto di vista privilegiato che ho sempre avuto.... nulla potra' mai essere più emozionante di affacciarsi, dopo una lunga ed intensa giornata di lavoro, sul ponte di volo e godersi nel silenzio la perfetta integrazione tra uomo e natura....
