Il Paradisea liliastrum (L.) Bertol., comunemente chiamato Paradisia o anche Giglio di San Bruno, appartiene alla famiglia delle Asparagaceae. Sinonimo: Anthericum liliastrum. Predilige prati e pascoli subalpini in ambienti soleggiati, su terreni dai 900 ai 2500 m. slm. Etimologia: Il nome del genere è dedicato al conte Giovanni Paradisi (1760-1826), presidente del Senato del Regno d'Italia napoleonico (1811-1813) e del Regio Istituto Italiano di Scienze, Lettere e Arti. Il nome specifico è dispregiativo di Lilium e sta indicarne la somiglianza . Questo fiore ha dato il nome al Giardino Botanico Paradisia sito a Valnontey, frazione di Cogne, in Val d'Aosta. Scatto effettuato nel mese di Giugno 2017 a Riale (Alta Val Formazza - VB) a circa 1.750 m. slm.
