Assiolo with gecko sent on June 23, 2017 (14:46) by Carmelo Milluzzo. 39 comments, 2181 views.

1/160 f/9.0, ISO 125, tripod. Specie: Otus scops

I had not read a virus that hit the birds that way. Do you know what it is? (Avian Influenza?)

That I work behind an extraordinary result. Very good. Unfortunately, our world is becoming less suitable for nature. We are destroying it. An owl puppy died on my night although I followed all the advice of the veterinary clinic I was in contact with. Some lp found crushed by cars. A tramorte and saved himself. The habitat at least here by me is too dominated by man. Nature suffers terribly.

Thank you Andnol and Matthew, hearty your comments !!! @ Matteo the luck from, my parts that the environment, around where I live, is unpopulated because many lands are abandoned, for the fortune of wildlife but road accidents with birds stationed near vehicular traffic, In the order of the day, I often find myself squatting on the asphalt many beasts, martyrs, some owl and other birds, unfortunately the animals do not understand the danger of being too close to the man.
A salutone.

Yes I know. Uncultured and abandoned fields are nonexistent. Every corner is used or at least scratched. Animal life less and less. I went to Latina with relatives last month and I was left with my mouth open: sparrows in every corner, owls under the house photographed after 5 mins waiting in tent, axiom in the distance that every night sang and a barbarians (never seen in my first life from now). Here from me (Venus Venus) is a total mortuary in comparison. An owl that nests here runs the big risk that the unborn (coming out of the nest soon) end up under a tractor, a car or a lawn mower. Every piece of earth is worked or kept "beautiful". Woe, excuse me for venting and good light. See you soon

I understand you, Matteo, unfortunately even if the animals "fit" us ... we do not do them and we do nothing to improve we only think about our profits and we feed animals.
A greeting
