Già studio di Vittorio Emanuele II, l'ambiente fu utilizzato con medesimi fini da Umberto. Il soffitto a cassettoni è decorato con Azioni simboliche di volanti eseguite da Beaumont intorno al 1720. Analoghe decorazioni restano sul lato esterno delle porte. mentre il lato interno mostra uccelli. fiori e motivi ornamentali alla cinese. Le sovrapporte appartengono alla serie delle Storie di Cesare e Alessandro di Francesco De Mura presente anche in altre sale. Le cornici di porte e sovrapporte risalgono agli interventi di gusto rococò attuati da Alfieri alla metà del Settecento, così come il disegno delle specchiere, ornate da ovali con i ritratti di Vittorio Amedeo III e della consorte Maria Antonia Ferdinanda. La coppia in età giovanile è immortala nella grande tela, opera di Domenico Duprà, insieme a una parte della numerosa prole che sarebbe nata dalla loro unione. Sulla parete opposta l'immagine a figura intera di Carlo Emanuele III, collocata sopra alla scrivania da parete in stile Luigi XV, proveniente dalla Reggia di Colorno presso Parma e attribuita all'ebanista Jean Pierre Latz, autore anche della scrivania utilizzata dal Presidente della Repubblica nel Palazzo del Quirinale. Straordinario il parquet in legno intarsiato d'ispirazione neoclassica eseguito dall'ebanista piemontese Gabriele Capello, detto il Moncalvo su disegno di Pelagio Palagi.
