A beautiful composition, full advantage of the potential of wide angle. Gestine excellent light, great rays of the sun filtering through the hole in the top right. Bello also the effect of water.
What can I say, congratulations!

The golden tones are the simple light of sunset. I did not apply color corrections.
In part, the B + W filter ND64x I used heat a little 'light percu was probably part to make the sunset + hot.

As show I actually exaggerated, are bracketed 5 exposures spaced one stop.
He did so to shoot, the idea was to take one or a couple to mix them in photoshop, I used them all in the end because the result was very natural and clean. However, there is little difference between the use them 2 or 5.
The whole PP photo did not last more than 5 minutes.
The files from the D800 were so perfect and dynamic that it took only overlap to avoid losing the star of the sun and the very low light.
When the machines take 20 stops of dynamic range not avoar need ... for now I'll settle for 14 bottle stop the D800 + /-2.5stop with bracketing.

that beautiful, can I ask what filter you used and what kind of processing has been? really beautiful tones

Hello, as I wrote above I used a ND64x of B + W.
Processing was a simple blend of five images that I had taken with photomerge and some tweaking on the masks.
iHo obtained a very similar result, losing only a little 'fine details from the image underexposed by one stop and recover shadows and highlights.
A 36 mp you may notice a difference from 20MP down are identical.

Despite what I said earlier, that the need to have more shots to cover 20ev dynamic range, in fact with the d800 is not really necessary. It only takes one carried out correctly and the data throws them all out.
