La Duchesnea indica (falsa fragola o fragola matta), è una pianta erbacea perenne della famiglia delle Rosacee. È una pianta che si è naturalizzata in Italia, predilige le zone poco assolate dal piano al monte (0-800 m s.l.m.). Era stata importata dall'Asia, durante l'Ottocento come curiosità botanica all'Orto Botanico di Torino da dove poi si è diffusa su tutto il territorio. Scatto effettuato in un boschetto misto a Varese nel Maggio 2017.
