Quella raffigurata in questo ex altoforno è Teodora Fornari, madre e moglie marcellinese, che in questa cava ha lavorato tutta la vita. Un posto che è stato parte della vita di tutti gli abitanti della città. Il simbolo di un lavoro che ha segnato le mani e i volti, plasmato e scavato la terra, inesorabilmente giorno dopo giorno, fino a quando la chiusura della fabbrica alla fine degli anni '70 l'ha trasformato in un deserto abbandonato L'opera è stata ideata da Romolo Belvedere (fotografo di Marcellina) e realizzata da Luis Gomez de Teran. (Cit.Elena Giovannini) Ho voluto dedicargli questo piccolo omaggio 'astronomico' ed il caso ha voluto che dietro teodora sorgesse in quel momento la Lira…per la quale lei si è svegliata tutte le mattine per campare la sua famiglia.
