Il Grande Arco della Dèfense, o grande arco della fratellanza, è il monumento emblematico del quartiere d'affari della Dèfense. Fu inaugurato il 14 luglio del 1989, giorno del bicentenario della rivoluzione francese. E'costruito sull'asse storico di Parigi ed offre una prospettiva unica sull'Arco di Trionfo, l'obelisco di Piazza della Concordia e la Piramide del Palazzo del Louvre. E'alto 110 metri e, all'interno della sua apertura, potrebbe contenere la Cattedrale di Notre Dame (stele compresa).
