, 30 sec f/5.0, ISO 6400, tripod.

// During the landscape workshop of September 8 we have seen two climbers camping on one of the Three Peaks of Lavaredo. Here one of the climbers moved his torch to look at the wall; in this occasion I have tested the limits of Canon 7D: the photo has been taken at ISO 6400. With a careful post processing I got a good result. #NightPhotos #MilkyWay #Notturno

you could not postarci the most important steps of your process?

I did not do screenshots, but next time I'll make a tutorial on how to draw pictures like that!

how did you get that deep blue sky from the original?

First you need to make noise reduction, to reduce the grain and remove the chroma noise due to high ISO, then you can give the tone that you prefer using the color balance. To prevent any photo to take a dominant cold I used the layer mask to apply the balance "cold" only on the starry sky.

Sarebbe veramente moooolto gradito!

Juza Congratulations for the great shot! Very good yield of the sky and the stars considering the high noise of Raw. I join too for those who would like a tutorial on how to develop this kind of post night shots! It would be really soooo welcome!

nice work! though I looked for a greater prominence in the upper part of the Milky Way, perhaps because blue mingles with the sky too. but oh well de gustibus. more than anything I liked the idea of ??keeping the dark foreground, I find it much more immersive panoramas seen some around here. seems to be there in the darkness and see the lights on the Great, under the starry sky of September. curiosity alloggiavate to locatelli?
about what is the best time of year to be able to capture the galactic core? the most clear that in this period is always low all'orrizzonte.

Considering that you have a 7d, and the noise of the machine is beautiful to look at, you've done a magnificent job in PP ... congratulations!

Alberto

excellent result for the photo!
From the point of view mountaineering, it may happen that two climbers are spared wall. Can be "built" to enjoy the night on the wall (preferably on a ledge) or to divide a climb in two days especially if the road is of great difficulty or are opening a new street / variant, or emergency stop can be in the second case the two climbers were equipped and therefore with considerable degree of training and competence (hopefully).

Complimenti JUZA !

Congratulations Juza!
I like the unusual components.
a tutorial of the post ... Which I guess is quite complex both useful no doubt ...
But it would also be interesting to see the original RAW in full size.
To understand more of the intervention.

Certainly very impressive! Could one ask for a step by step how you did the noise reduction? Since I own a 7D myself and often need to push the iso a good noise reduction tutorial would be much appreciated.
