Di colori in quel posto, con quella luce, ce ne erano veramente tanti!
Il muschio in estate ha un colore quasi irreale per quanto è brillante e saturo, la roccia vulcanica ha striature di rosso ed arancio molto intense e lo specchio d'acqua ha un colore fra lo smeraldo ed il turchese.
Ho cercato di post-produrre l'immagine mostrando la ricchezza dei colori in modo spettacolare ma realistico. Ovviamente questa è la mia interpretazione soggettiva del luogo: il compromesso che più si addice al mio gusto.
Ci sta pienamente che altri fotografi possano vedere differenti livelli di saturazione locale o di luminosità.
La fotografia di natura, per come io la vedo, è il racconto della natura stessa filtrato dalla personale sensibilità del fotografo. Non esiste un'oggettività assoluta ma esistono dei limiti di 'onestà' e buon gusto che ogni fotografo che si definisce naturalista dovrebbe rispettare.
Per quanto riguarda l'Islanda questa è una terra che offre infinite possibilità fotografiche.
D'altra parte chi viene qui finisce quasi sempre nei soliti posti a replicare immagini viste milioni di volte...e capisco benissimo data la difficoltà nel muoversi fuori dai percorsi battuti.
Io che ci vivo in Islanda sto facendo tutt'altro, anche se per ora non sto mostrando praticamente nulla di tutto il lavoro che sto facendo. Ci vorrà tempo, ma spero di riuscire a mostrare negli anni una 'mia' Islanda, un po 'diversa', un po 'sorprendente', ma sopratutto 'mia'! :)

Those iconic places are so beautiful and 'easy' to make not simply the fact of dedicating time to look for another. Consider then that finding majestic 'virgin' landscapes that make for good photography is almost impossible even inland.
But by combining the spirit of discovery, imagination and a bit of time on the things they can still do many.
