In answer to your first point, I shoot with my heart and to 'correct' the angle of shooting would have been to remove some of the emotion and sense of fun from the image. Regarding your second point, the main subjects are the girls. The man's presence is very much felt in the fact that he fills the full height of the frame - if I had included his back as well, his form would have dominated the image and distracted attention away from the girls.
