Con questa foto vorrei ringraziare la gente nubiana ed in particolare le donne nubiane, il vero fulcro della società sudanese, che mi hanno ospitato in questo mio lungo viaggio. Con gentilezza e sorrisi hanno aperto la porta delle loro case e mi hanno accolto , ho pranzato e bevuto nelle loro spartane ma decorose dimore, anche senza parlare la stessa lingua ci siamo intese alla perfezione.
