Non ditelo a me, Francesco e Marco, su quanto sia il fascino di questo uccello; lo seguo veramente da tantissimi anni; credo di avere ben oltre un migliaio di scatti che lo ritraggono in varie situazioni e condizioni, oltre diverse ore di riprese video, eppure non mi "stanco" mai di rapportarmi con lui; di andarlo a cercare; di trovarlo e di seguirlo nei mesi che soggiorna qui dalle mie parti.-
Come ho detto, non è un uccello che attira molto l'attenzione dei fotografi, come invece accade per specie più appariscenti e fotogeniche, ma credo che chi ha avuto modo di "rapportarsi" con lui, anche per una sola volta, non può non essere rimasto ammaliato dai suoi comportamenti; dalle sue movenze; da quel suo comportarsi in maniera così particolare ed elusiva; da quel sembrare non esserci per poi materializzarsi quasi dal nulla.-
