I sincerely high-cut there I see a lot ..... starting to see the waterfall from the top edge it seems to me that something is missing ....

I renew to you the compliments for the composition that is truly at your level.
I understand the idea of ??setting a bit 'dark with ice waterfall that bursts forcefully in the scene! Nice I like it

When I talked about crispness I was referring to the sharpness of the whole image that appears almost decided edgy! surely you've thought so just to make the most of these sensations.
I know that you do not leave anything to chance ;-)

If you want to delete a part of the sky, leaving unchanged all the rest may proceed as well Simon, with selections rectangular selection around the upper half image or better yet a third, and then with the free transform the stiri upwards of what it takes. The waterfall would stretch a little and you would get the desired effect, the rest of the scene would be framed in the same way. With the free transformation, with Distort and / or alters I've seen him do crazy things, and there are now straighten lines and / or horizons only locally. Enjoy :-D

The panta rei has stopped, therefore the time, and rightly so. The light tones and shades of color are very beautiful. The photograph I love it.

Definitely pretty chaotic scene at least in outline, but for this sincere and by the way the contrast of the same with linear vertical geometry of "stalactites of ice" is interesting. Then forever just love the various considerations about light etc etc ..... but photography that "tells" a place must always be the impact?

Thanks Brian, Franco, Joseph and Massi

@Franco
yes thank Franco, I know the potential of "alters", I use it myself, here for example I used to straighten a little cascade to the left without going to cut that stone that is already in inquadratura.fichè hair is to straighten something is very powerful, but I've seen what they do certain characters (one for all ryan Dyar) and frankly I dropped the balls when I saw elongated mountains, hills or shrunken ups ingranditi..per charity done in a workmanlike manner, but it is not my photographic world. ;-)

Giuseppe and Massimiliano thanks for the beautiful remarks.

A greeting
Simone

obvious that if I do it with a 18-megapixel camera have a smaller margin than that with a 80-megapixel camera !!

I still think I photograph with a 12 :-D

speech on the loss of detail I agree, but my fetched here was minima.in some photos I pushed a little more but in the end I did not notice large differenze.c'è to also say that Photoshop really does miracles.
then as I always say I'm not a technician and if the photo does not split hairs I do not make a tragedy.
because even then with the orton Gianluca do not you go off retail?

Well you have found ice at will, indeed only one without a trickle of water. Nice place and beautiful picture I like the original, I would say good and realistic rendering of shadows.

It goes well, but that centers Gian, then do unico.livello the end to which a decay there anyway.
Il.mio was just an example to say that on our photos with all levels of adjustments, filters, detail extractor, bd layer, orton, glows, etc. The perspective corrections massacriamo not little.

Excuse me but you the orton him from the level of 50%?
Because?

As well as you thought, taken and treated me like a lot. Too bad for the light, but I bet you too, as it happens to me, if I decide to go out to photograph, you can be sure that even if the sun disappears ... is July !!! :-D
Seriously, good at everything Simone.

Good composition and pp, shame about the light, really flat, I also prefer the version without the sky, so white is a punch in the eye :-D
