Sacro Monte di Orta-Statue inside a chapel. sent on January 22, 2017 (14:50) by Massimo Schiavi. 40 comments, 793 views. [retina]

at 24mm, 1/40 f/16.0, ISO 10000, hand held. Orta San Giulio, Italy.

I agree with Paul P, and I add that I like the wise direction of those who have placed the statues and that of your eye that captured the only direct look to us, by placing it in a strong point and making attraentissimo ;-)
a warm greeting, GA

Thank you so much, Simonetta, for the nice comment that made me a great pleasure!
In fact it is a well-deserved appreciation from the one who, centuries ago, has placed the statues, but much less (almost no) deserved from me that I was forced to a forced pdr by the presence of a large mesh in the grille of the window from which I made the shot! I believe, however, that the sculptor or architect who has placed the statues have specifically addressed the boy's eyes as a single eye to the only window through which the pilgrim or visitor could observe the scenery.
Best wishes to you and best wishes for a happy Sunday!
