I pescatori del lago Inle si muovono su un'estremità della barca. Remano appoggiando il remo su una gamba e tenendosi in equilibrio sull'altra. Hanno sviluppato questo stile unico perché stando in piedi è possibile districarsi più agevolmente tra le canne e la vegetazione galleggiante del lago, e avere le mani libere per la pesca.
