, hand held.

Very beautiful and evocative image, good composition although I would cut a hair below.
At first glance it seemed that the snow was put into the post, since there were no elements that allow the fall (clouds or appropriate landscape), I then built some doubts but after reading the description I understand.
That said I confirm what I wrote at the beginning, really a nice picture. You have been able to capture a beautiful (of course depends on your point of view, for me it is :-D) fairly rare occurrence for those lands.

Spectacular shooting, before reading the caption I thought they were two days overlapping shots and night, then reading I realized that they were not stars but snowflakes. What a sight this nature that is going down. Great Pdr and management in general.

Marco, it is not just a night. We are in the afternoon, -D

I would never have said, that there was the apocalypse? :-D

ISO 200. The "noise" now I'll explain. In fact there is very little noise. The definition that takes out the G80 is considerable and we must be careful, because it does not take much to get images all too crispy. What you perceive as noise are actually countless snowflakes scattered throughout the frame. The scaling did the rest, because they do not come more to distinguish them well and take on the appearance of noise in fact.

After writing I had come to doubt that they could be snowflakes also because, your other pictures, are extremely clean as noise.

Marco.

PS Arriving E-M1 + 12-40 :-D

A composition almost magical for its unusual, beautifully captured. I like a lot, very good, and congratulations!

Beautiful composition, the sea always has a special charm, especially when combined with the rain (think white dots you see are rain). One thing I did not clear if the lighthouse is naturally brighter or has been artificially brightened in post. This, in my opinion, due to a slight imbalance in the picture, but that's just my personal impression

I like the idea because more snow gives me more the idea of ??a starry sky, a warm greeting

This image puzzles me. I can not understand what time of day it was taken.
The strong headlight illumination might suggest to me for the morning, the shadow-free illumination for the central hour of the day and the sky to the blue hour.
Those who initially seemed stars, then reading the caption, I realized be of snowflakes.
In effect gives the impression of a set, a theatrical set.
The composition with the parallel coast, makes it very dynamic shooting. I would have preferred a more tilted perspective, but not knowing the place, I do not know if you can.
The lighthouse lies on a third, and this is. But the picture is bipartite. Probably, since the weather event infrequent, I would have sacrificed a bit 'of the seafor the sky.

Very beautiful from the sea to the stars flocked everything perfect. I really like the colors. If I have to find fault with me it seems too interesting on the left. Missing a little something on the right to balance.

very interesting shot, almost magical. The light color of the lighthouse and rocks contrasts sharply with the rest of the image and I think it is a strength. The color of the sea makes it threateningly at the right point and the snowflakes are the icing on the cake. Maybe I fell a little 'clouds.

bye Bye

The first impression is that of a very bright night, then on closer inspection it is clear that those are not stars. The second impression is that of a shot made from inside a snowball (that's a compliment): I feel involved in the scene and I find it well-managed. If I had to make a change perhaps I clonerei those few flakes too close and blurred: at first glance seem to stains.

Hello Nicholas must say, I really like. The ambiguity between snow and stars, day and night are the first elements that affect this beautiful picture but also the contrast between warm and cold colors work well. I do not know if for landscapes your east-ethics provides for the possibility of using the Clone Stamp, but I was you would cut the electric cables on sinistra.Solo congratulations for this time :-).

Fabulous, I have no criticism. To my taste I would have preferred a different aspect ratio (a wider and low cut) but that's nitpicking. Compliments.

Hello Nicolo ', I follow some time your shots, there are some really big-time, I like that even if it is not in your best, too bad that the lighthouse was switched off ....
