La Christmas Run Verona organizzata da Veronamarathon Eventi è stata un successo. Si è svolta nella mattinata del 18 dicembre, in piazza Bra a Verona la settima edizione della corsa dei Babbo Natale, un'idea nata anni fa per festeggiare il Natale correndo e facendo del bene, visto anche la finalità benefica dell'iniziativa. Il ricavato sarà donato sotto forma di buoni scuola agli istituti scolastici per l'acquisto di materiale didattico e sportivo. Ben 7062 i partecipanti che hanno invaso fin dalle prime ore del mattino la piazza antistante l'Arena e le vie centrali della città scaligera, un fiume rosso di persone che hanno voluto esserci e correre i 5 o i 10 chilometri del percorso magari insieme alla propria famiglia.
