Grazie ancora a tutti!
Le Langhe in autunno offrono molti spunti a noi appassionati di fotografia, io sono andato la settimana scorsa ed era un po' tardi per godere dei colori più belli delle vigne ma sono stati i primi giorni di buona visibilità dopo parecchie giornate di nebbia o foschia più o meno densa, per capirci meglio in questa foto il Monviso non si sarebbe proprio visto, nemmeno l'ombra.
L'uso del tele a 200mm comprime molto la prospettiva ma in realtà tra il castello ed il Monviso ci sono circa 80 Km.

Alberto, il 70-200 f/2.8 è una lente davvero bellissima, quasi perfetta e dico quasi anche se onestamente non ci trovo un solo difetto, ovviamente è pesante ed ingombrante e a volte anch'io lo lascio a casa.
Il problema più importante che c'è quando si fotografa il paesaggio con una focale lunga è la pulizia dell'aria, foschia, gocce di umidità, pulviscolo o inquinamento sono fattori che in fase di scatto non si notano molto ma una volta a casa ci si trova il file poco contrastato e definito.
C'è poi un nemico che io odio particolarmente che è l'effetto miraggio, non so come altro chiamarlo, hai presente l'effetto causato dal calore nel deserto che distorce i particolari in lontananza?
Quell'effetto mi ha rovinato parecchie foto l'estate scorsa in Provenza e a Castelluccio, è difficile notarlo nel display della fotocamera ma una volta a casa ti accorgi che con la tua lente da 2000 euro hai portato a casa lo scatto che avresti potuto fare con una compattina da 100, è odiosoConfuso

Nel caso di questa foto l'aria era abbastanza pulita anche se non perfetta, per rispondere alla tua domanda allego una foto che ti fa capire quanto ho croppato, quando ci sono molti elementi sui bordi preferisco sempre stare largo in fase di scatto per avere la possibilità di trovare con calma il taglio che preferisco, in questo caso il 16:9.
Per fortuna la mia religione non mi impedisce di croppare:-P
