In questi primi giorni di "quasi" freddo, torna un po' la nostalgia del mare e dell'estate. Io quest'anno ho trascorso una meravigliosa vacanza ad Acharavi (Corfù). Ecco il suo mare, ecco un po' di notizie. Nella parte settentrionale dell'isola di Kerkyra o Corfù, a metà strada tra Kassiopi e Roda e con una bella vista sulle coste albanesi, si trova la cittadina di Acharavi, ??????? in greco. Meta turistica particolarmente adatta alle famiglie e alle coppie a 40 chilometri dall'aeroporto, ha una spiaggia a soli 10 minuti di distanza a piedi. La cittadina è la più sviluppata della parte settentrionale dell'isola ed è ricca di caffetterie, taverne, bar, locali notturni e negozi, inoltre nella parte più antica del paese potrete visitare i resti dei Bagni Romani scoperti casualmente nel corso di una ristrutturazione e ora vincolati dal ministero per i beni e le attività culturali greco. La spiaggia di sabbia dorata è attrezzata e contornata da caffetterie. La baia si estende per 3 chilometri ed è perfetta per i bambini visto che il mare è poco profondo fino a 50 metri dalla riva. Vicino ad Acharavi si trovano altre lunghe spiagge si sabbia fine ma concedetevi anche un passeggiata lungo i bellissimi sentieri dell'entroterra che offrono scorci stupendi.
