Very beautiful composition, you have been very good at exploiting the wide angle to exaggerate the perspective. Hello Molto bella la composizione, sei stato anche molto bravo a sfruttare il grandangolo per esasperare la prospettiva. Ciao |

No, I'm not very familiar with it but sufficiently familiar (having been there a small handful of times over the years) to believe I recognised it. A quick google confirmed I was right but I only saw one other image that was remotely similar to yours, hence my comment! |

There are various lighthouses around the south coast, Ann and so I am yet to be convinced that you are referring to the same place! |

Yes! This was my almost entire day spent when down in Weymouth, last week. I found out that there was an open top tourist bus that goes all the way down there but only in the summer (ends this week) - usually I would hate to go on such but Des and I drove there about 15 years ago and I've been itching to go back. So, in the four hours I was there, I got SO many shots from every conceivable angle as I knew that I'd probably not get another chance, probably for another 15 years! Expect more - and I might ask Juza to add as a location. Funnily, BBC1's 'Breakfast' had their weather woman Carol down there reporting that very same morning, but in a foggy mist! So, a very special day and hugely productive, photographically. |

Ha! I went there last year on the same occasion as I saw the Antony Gormley in Tout Quarry Sculpture Park - I'm guessing you did the same! I must look out my photos...... :) |

I just went straight down there and back, in theory, at other times of the year it's possible to get normal busses to the villages further up the 'bill'. But Weymouth is expensive to get to by train, unless it's a Promo offer and even then it's only available on a few trains (via Southampton, which takes 2.5 hours each way, with change) - I got home after 12.30 a.m. So, I probably won't be rushing to get back (and do have these images to keep me going for a while too, of course). |
