Emilio - I take your point and have to say that no noise reduction was introduced in either camera or Photoshop. The 'problem' was more noticeable after upload (extra sharpening, lowering pixels via lower bandwidth) - I think it's down to the black and conversion as the areas affected were of very small tonal variation (yellowy brown, which never converts that well). But thanks for your Like, much appreciated!
