Mi fa piacere pubblicare questa foto perché scattata in una zona della Sicilia che per varie vicissitudini è stata percepita solo come la terra di Don Vito Corleone (nel film "Il Padrino") e il luogo dove la mafia ha messo profonde radici. Finzione ed avvenimenti reali che non aiutano a comprendere bene il fascino che determinati posti hanno e che purtroppo viene celato grazie ad una informazione dedita più allo scandalo e alla cronaca che non alla promozione e alla divulgazione delle bellezze presenti in un determinato luogo. Siamo nelle campagne adiacenti a Corleone e vedo un significato simbolico nell'illuminazione di questa foto e nella ricchezza di coltivazioni che ordinatamente si alternano lungo i dolci declivi di questa parte delle Sicilia occidentale: il passaggio da tempi bui e davvero tristi a un nuovo inizio, in cui la legalità pian piano riprende il sopravvento e aree campagnole così belle vengono fatte rinascere donando a tutto il paesaggio un non so che di fiabesco. E' giusto far conoscere anche questi aspetti per non cadere nella trappola degli stereotipi di cui il popolo siciliano ha sempre sofferto le conseguenze.
