La Città di Ragusa, la mia città, è costruita su tre colline separate da profonde vallate: la vallata Santa Domenica ad est e San Leonardo a nord. La vallata Santa Domenica, a sua volta, divide in due la parte bassa di Ragusa superiore collegata agevolmente da tre ponti: il Ponte Vecchio inaugurato alla fine del XIX secolo, il Ponte Nuovo inaugurato nel 1937 e il Ponte Giovanni XXIII (o Ponte San Vito) inaugurato nel 1964. La presenza di queste tre strutture, molto pittoresche, fa si che Ragusa venga chiamata la "Città dei ponti". (La foto è stata scattata con la fotocamera appoggiata sulla ringhiera ferrea di Ponte San Vito)

Cara Agata ti capisco perfettamente perché neanch'io sono mai riuscito a fare foto decenti alla nostra città. Ibla è un altro discorso...è tutta da fotografare. Quello stesso posto di giorno non mi ha mai detto niente. La settimana scorsa sono andato a mare per una passeggiata e ho portato con me la fotocamera. Al ritorno, era già buio, passo dal ponte S. Vito e quasi istintivamente scatto alcune foto appoggiando la fotocamera alla ringhiera.
