Il Laghetto Motta d'Oro è poco più che una pozza d'acqua (meno di 1.000 mq. di superficie) posto in mezzo ad un bosco nel Parco Regionale del Campo dei Fiori nelle vicinanze di Varese. Al di là di essere un luogo dove regna una pace quasi assoluta (è abbastanza fuori dal passaggio dei sentieri più frequentati), è tenuto in grande considerazione perché è un luogo prediletto da rane e rospi per la riproduzione e, quindi, è area protetta.

Purtroppo, nel laghetto (più una grande pozza d'acqua che un laghetto !) a parte tre Germani, non c'era ombra di altri uccelli e questo, forse, perché è proprio in mezzo ad un bosco.
La location è bella davvero e si respira una tranquillità piacevolissima.
