Mentre guidavo con gli occhi fissi sull'interminabile rettilineo che mi correva incontro, andavo ripensando a quanto mi era successo. Avevo voluto mollare tutto, mandare al diavolo quella routine insopportabile e vivere secondo quel che mi dettava l'impulso del momento. Avevo fatto un percorso circolare che mi stava riportando al punto di partenza. Da tutto si può fuggire meno che da noi stessi, quindi io e la mia metà oscura avremmo dovuto convivere fino alla fine, lo volessi o meno." Giovanni Riccardi.
