Questa foto fa parte di un lavoro intrapreso circa 1 anno fa, con lo scopo di documentare alcune delle fasi di caccia di un predatore notturno della zona dove vivo. Nel nord italia l'allocco è uno dei rapaci notturni piu comuni nonostante i siti di riproduzione siano sempre minori ogni anno. Avevo gia fotografato l'allocco in diverse situazioni "normali" ma la sfida era quella di riuscire a cogliere momenti di caccia o attimi particolari che potevano rappresentarla. E' stato un lungo lavoro, studi, riprese, filmati notturni,ore di sonno perse, prove e controprove ma alla fine credo che la combricola ce l'abbia fatta! (io, Sergio e Fabrizio) Avevamo gia fotografato la cattura di quelle rane nostrane, ma serviva quel tocco in piu, quella marcia e quella unicità che non avevo mai visto. Il riflesso sul laghetto è stato proprio quella marcia in più alla foto!
