con Canon EF 2.0x III, 1/160 f/10.0, ISO 1600, tripod. Specie: Loxia curvirostra

Giordano

In the most beautiful sunsets, the few times where the where the mist does not hide the sun and lets it fall to the horizon, there is a moment, a brief moment in which the light turns pink. I always loved that soft and delicate color is unique about any subject is any photographers and beautiful pictures, and I always loved the sunset calm, much more than the dawn frenzy ... and, for once, a cruise has chosen to rest right there, in the right place and at that very moment, at the right time! Of course, I had to cut the reflection and the subject does not have a beautiful plumage, but the color of the light I like it so much!

David, in order to photograph resemble us, speak to search subjects so-called "free range" but above all attend some type of contexts.
volevo write in MP, but then I changed my mind and I wanted to share with all my thoughts.
I think that the value of a photo is not just the technical aspect .... it 'the full beauty of the "work" but it is upstream that there are more important things, and "for me" are the ones that gratify more, ie the context, the surprise, the beauty of the moment, to overcome difficulties, patience paid off ... but most of all the memory of the moment.
Just to dire..io I have two / three photos of a trentacinquina of years ago, made one Yellowhammer with my first Contax Yashica fx3 and Soligor 70-300 + doubler, photos that if "today" one sees starts laugh: - | : - | : - | .
But remembering the adventures that I made to get to photograph it and then the satisfaction dfter the development of the film, "for me" all this has made these photos of immense value. :-P
Well ... I wanted to do this / account / s to say that each photo in its history, and that "in my humble opinion" photos sweaty made free environments (although not technically perfect) are in every sense the most beautiful, and we who know how to have been made that we have to give value ... which in the end is what counts. :-P
David's photos of this Sunset cruise is very nice ... for the rest it everything I've said.
Cordial greetings
Giordano

MrGreen

Thank you all for the transition and for the comments !!
Eh, Giordano you're right! Ultimately mainly takes photos for their own welfare, we must be the first to be satisfied with our shots ... of course there is also need to be the first critics of their photos, because the only way you can improve (very slowly in my case ...), but the satisfaction for a photo dreamed and built, though not perfect, is always great !! :-D
