Da tempo passando nella zona del ex mercato ortofrutticolo di Bologna avevo notato questo murales enorme m8x8 che è situato in una zona fatiscente con un degrado notevole. Ammetto la mia non conoscenza di chi esegue questi murales e documentandomi ho scoperto che l'autore di nome o meglio pseudonimo BLU è uno degli artisti italiani più famosi all'estero. Propongo questi scatti di particolari di questo lavoro che mi attraggono moltissimo anche per il significato della lotta. (Ndr ) "Tutti i componenti del dipinto si accalcano tra di loro, rivolgendosi verso l'Anello del potere. Il significato è racchiuso non solo nell'immagine del gioiello ritratto a colori in primo piano, ma anche da Sauron avvolto nel drappo tricolore. E il cielo, diviso a metà, da una parte brucia e dall'altra è blu. È un'immagine molto dura quella di Blu, con la figura del sindaco in primo piano e tante altre figure che rappresentano il volto più osceno e violento (potenti, macellai e bottegai) della città, chiusa nelle sue mura trecentesche, difesa con le armi spianate, governata da personaggi avidi e bugiardi. Il male la domina, volteggiando sulla Torre degli Asinelli in un'atmosfera malata e su uno sfondo in fiamme da bolgia dantesca. Il bene assedia la città in mezzo alla folla di chi difende la rocca ci sono personaggi riconoscibili, ben delineati: banchieri con la bandiera coi dollari, bottegai con le loro casse, macellai che contro gli avversari lanciano grosse mortadelle: carne morta, insaccata. E ancora la politica bugiarda, sotto forma di Pinocchio attorniata da giornalisti e microfoni (Blu non rilascia interviste…). Poi un groviglio di automobili a ridosso delle mura: il traffico. Tanta polizia a difesa della città, le ruspe violente e anche Darth Vader con le truppe dell'Impero. Ci sono vigili, tori, orchi, un Nazgul e perfino la statua del Nettuno di piazza Grande a far le veci di un Troll incatenato."
