...vedi, spesso i miei titoli nascono da un mio sentire correlato alle sensazioni che mi suscita la foto e dunque non è detto che siano comprensibili/condivisi nel loro significato da chi guarda. In questo caso, la foto si avvicina al genere "boudoir" ovvero una fotografia che racconta l'intimità di una donna nella sua stanza. Solitamente la modella non guarda in macchina ed il fotografo in qualche modo diventa un voyeur, un osservatore discreto.
Niki invece qui guarda verso...qualcuno (che nella realtà sia io non ha nessuna importanza) e, in una situazione di rilassata intimità, in qualche modo si riappropria di sè stessa, libera da "tacchi e fronzoli". Il suo sguardo sembra quasi tenere a distanza chi la vorrebbe diversa...un uomo che la vorrebbe diversa.

Credo che quando a scattare foto come questa siamo noi donne, sia facile specchiarsi in situazioni emozionali che facciamo in qualche modo interpretare alla nostra modella. E' un approccio leggermente diverso da quello maschile, me ne accorgo scattando con i miei amici e trovo davvero interessante questo confronto anche incentrato sull'espressività degli scatti. Insomma, io vorrei raccontare anche qualcosa oltre che ritrarre la bellezza.
