Il Palazzo Ducale è uno dei principali edifici storici e musei del capoluogo ligure, già sede del dogato dell'antica Repubblica. Lasciato in abbandono per lungo tempo e adibito a sede degli uffici giudiziari prima della costruzione negli anni settanta del nuovo palazzo di giustizia di Portoria, ha visto completare il suo restauro in occasione delle "Colombiadi" del 1992, con cui vennero commemorati Cristoforo Colombo e il cinquecentenario della scoperta dell'America. #hdr
