Fotomontaggio denuncia contro le trivellazioni nei nostri mari. L'Adriatico essendo un mare chiuso ha degli equilibri biologici molto delicati. Gli antichi romani lo chiamavano "Golfo Adriatico". Su questo mare si erge a 24 metri sul livello del mare Polignano a Mare, la mia città. Quanto petrolio ci possa essere nell'Adriatico è un'incognita. Che convenga estrarlo, è una seconda incognita. Che invece, al netto dell'opzione di un disastro ambientale, il danno al turismo e alla fauna sia comunque grave è una certezza. Non capisco come con tutti I blocchi in Italia, lo "Sblocca Italia" debba interessarsi proprio a questo. Le "trivellazioni sperimentali" verrebbero eseguite dopo una preliminare ispezione dei fondali marini tramite airgun. "L'airgun è una tecnica di ispezione dei fondali marini, per capire cosa contiene il sottosuolo. Praticamente ci sono degli spari fortissimi e continui, ogni 5 o dieci minuti, di aria compressa che mandano onde riflesse da cui estrarre dati sulla composizione del sottosuolo. Questi spari sono dannosi al pescato perché molte specie ittiche dipendono dal senso dell'udito per orientarsi, per accoppiarsi e per trovare cibo. Il largo di Polignano potrebbe essere soggetto a queste trivellazioni. Non lasciamo il nostro futuro nelle mani avide delle multinazionali del petrolio!
