con Sigma 2x TC-2001, 1/2000 f/6.3, ISO 6400, hand held. Specie: Eurylaimus ochromalus

I recognise that technically this is not the best shot but I am posting as I am sure this subject may not have been seen on Juza. Subject is only 15cm/6 inches in length and was about 35 meters high up in the canopy. Our eagle eyed guide spotted but we struggled to see with the human eye. Colors could not be viewed with the human eye but only with binoculars of long lenses. Subject covered in shadows and heavy back lighting behind. Most of the work so that the subject can be seen with some clarity was done in PP. Image was taken about 1.5 hour from Kuala Lumpur in the eastern lowland forest.

Hi Steff, I have a powerful a speedlight but even it cannot be of benefit at 35 meters distance shooting almost vertically into a back lit wide forest canopy onto a subject only 15cm long : )
