la via quest'anno sta ospitando, nell'ambito di Luci d'artista, l'opera "Il Mito" di Nello Ferrigno in prestito dal Comune di Salerno. Questa è una recensione dell'opera: Le nostre coste hanno visto le gesta straordinarie di personaggi mitologici che hanno lasciato tracce indelebili nel nostro immaginario. Omero ci racconta che Odisseo ha incontrato le sirene nel nostro mare e Virgilio ci parla di Palinuro, nocchiero di Enea, che trova la morte in quel lembo di terra che da lui prenderà il nome. Ma, al di là della collocazione geografica, la mitologia affascina e, se almeno una volta si è sognato di essere Ulisse, ogni luogo può essere Itaca se c'è una donna che ci aspetta. Così, affascinato dal "mito", la proposta di Nello Ferrigno come installazione luminosa per Luci d'Artista 2011 attinge a piene mani dall'immaginario omerico. Troviamo, allora, sirene e centauri, arpie ed amazzoni che a tinte forti coloreranno le strade del centro cittadino. Le strutture sono state realizzate con tubo luminoso a led, in doppio tratto e in varie tinte, spesso appaiando due colori diversi nello stesso tratto. Il riempimento delle figure, dove previsto dall'artista, è costruito con file di microluci a led con effetto flashing. Il tutto è arricchito con pezzi di plexiglass colorato.
