gruccione fronte bianca (Merops bullockoides).questa specie assieme al little bee eater è l'unica che rimane in sudafrica durante la stagione secca.nella loro estate ce ne sono in totale 9 specie mentre da giugno a fine settembre solo queste due rimangono.questo perchè in quel periodo è inverno australe ed è freddo,con pochi insetti.questa specie per ovviare il problema caccia anche a terra quando necessario. scatto a mano libera con flash in quanto la giornata era molto scura.per me una buona prova per il duplicatore kenko....ps questa specie l'ho incontrata solo su una collina vicino a shingwedzi.parco kruger sud africa
