Glad my photos inspired you to return to Poole Harbour and look forward to seeing those sunsets! I'm sorry I wasn't there myself - I could so easily have been but had something else on yesterday evening. I'm sure that one of these days I'll find myself talking to you, not knowing it's you! :))

Ha! I do wonder at that too. Only one person (tried to) talk to me, as I was getting the bright lights of Poole in the late dusk, with the 135-400mm on tripod and he asked if 'anything was about to happen'. "Darkness", I replied, 'happens every day, so I'm lead to believe".... so, I'm not the most talkative especially when trying to "work" but I might be more approachable if I thought it might be you! I do intend to do something similar around Poole sometime soon but the 11pm bus back is only Fridays and Saturdays only and hauling around such gear does take its toll on my tiredness levels.

I'm not too sure I do, actually and I'm not actually rude, I say such wry comments with a certain smile but I am seldom out there when the light is changing so quickly and with so many subjects to socialise. But that chap last night thought I was after something astronomical and wondered why on earth I had chosen a light polluted Poole for such. I did say that it was this this actual light pollution that I after at which point HE lost interest and walked off! But having said that, the stars were quite nicely clear for my Star Wars image later, over an equally light polluted Bournemouth.

I blipped a windswept version of me back in March as my contribution to the Blipfoto Forever collage and there's a couple of others that I posted as extras when I was at the Birds of Prey Centre on 20th August. I know you'd finished blipping by August but thought you may have seen the one in March.
I didn't think for one minute that you would be rude. I have a very dry sense of humour, so your wry comments may well have made me laugh :))
