, 1/60 f/13.0, ISO 500, tripod. Specie: Attacus atlas

Thanks Alessio as well as being the largest is really nice and also the handle of the rake which has settled after the first flight, short luckily for me, otherwise I would have lost, not bad for the composition. Thank you, hello Fabrizio

Thanks Pigi, Petervdh and Marco, was very fortunate to have received a gift of two nymphs by my friend and can photograph a specimen born, I pity the man got away almost immediately, while the female had much more time because usually it stands still in the place where she was born a boy waiting for fertilization. Thanks to everyone for the compliments, hello Fabrizio

Hello Fabrizio! Of all the series this is definitely the best; the black background enhances the beauty of the butterfly.

Hello Luigi, in fact I wanted to present it again with the black background as you say that enhances this beautiful butterfly that is also the largest in the world. I did make a 75x50 panel of this photo for the exhibition that will inaugurate together Saturday, October 3rd. Thanks for the compliment, hello Fabrizio
