Il Peleides Blue Morpho, Morpho comune, o The Emperor (Morpho peleides) ] è un iridescente tropicale farfalla si trovano inMessico, America Centrale, Nord Sud America, Paraguay e Trinidad. Alcune autorità ritengono che peleides è un sottospecie di Morpho helenor. Morpho peleides beve i succhi di frutta in decomposizione per il cibo. I suoi preferiti in cattività sono mango, kiwi e litchi. Morpho peleides farfalle vivono nelle foreste pluviali del Sud America, e si possono trovare in Messico e America Centrale. Le larve di Morpho peleides farfalle sono occasionali cannibali. Questi bruchi sono di colore rosso-marrone con macchie di verde brillante.
