certo che si può ma da appostamento risulta molto utile, inoltre il cavalletto aiuta ad evitare il mosso e nel caso di questa immagine esisteva un alto rischio sei stato bravo.............ad evitarlo

@Sigismondi: non è così difficile fare foto senza il cavalletto basta qualche accorgimento
il mio ''perchè non si può?'' voleva essere ... provocatorio! ti voglio raccontare come è andata: in effetti avevo il cavalletto con su montato il 500f4 e la mia amata 7D, ma il picchio si è posato talmente vicino che non ci stava dentro, quindi mantenendo il sangue freddo necessario e con movimenti da... bradipo ho tolto il corpo macchina dal cavalletto+500 e ho montato il 400f5,6 che avevo per fortuna a portata di mano ma ovviamente senza avere un secondo cavalletto! poi se vedi le mie gallerie c'è pieno di foto fatte a manolibera anche con il 600 ed anche tutte rigorosamente senza stabilizzatore! qualche volta va bene qualche volta no basta cercare un minimo di appoggio occasionale e controllare la respirazione ed anche l'agitazione che di solito ti prende quando arriva un bel soggetto come questo

Sloth: -D I removed the body from the machine stand + 500 and mounting the 400f5,6 I had fortunately at hand but obviously without a second easel! Then if you see my gallery full of photos is made freehand with the 600 and also all strictly no stabilizer! sometimes is good sometimes not just look for a minimum of support and occasional control breathing and alsothe turmoil that usually comes when you take a nice person like this
