Ponte di Vigo- #Chioggia / Italia E' il balcone della città, il più bello e più artistico degli otto ponti che cavalcano il Canal Vena: è stato definito come l'equivalente del veneziano Ponte di Rialto. Il Ponte di Vigo fu costruito in muratura nel 1685, in sostituzione di quello in legno che era stato teatro di aspri combattimenti durante la "Guerra di Chioggia". In seguito il ponte fu abbellito con marmi d'Istria e con alcuni bassorilievi raffiguranti l'Annunciazione e i Santi Felice e Fortunato, patroni di Chioggia. In passato sul ponte fu collocato un fanale, affinché i naviganti potessero orientarsi.------- Tutte le foto contenute in queste gallerie sono copyright Mario Griso e non possono essere utilizzate in alcuna forma senza il consenso dell'autore.
