, 1/2000 f/11.0, ISO 800, hand held. Specie: Milvus migrans

Danilone, Franco & Franco, Giuliano and Robby honored to pass and comment :-)

@ Franco: time (in fact, a good 5 minutes in the truth:-D) was exciting, I did not know how to handle the focal caper up to keep the scene without being too short, I could not focus when focus on that subject ... in short, a little fear of not being able to take advantage of the opportunity! in the end everything went well ... and I must say it was the fundamental fact of having the zoom. probably with a fixed combination would only damage :-|

Dino and Stefano thanks to you :-)

@ Stefano: true, these days between resident and migratory birds we saw pretty much everything. I finally managed to photograph my first kite full frame (that I will post as soon as I can) and I have seen and photographed for the first time the female red-footed falcon (this applies only as "capture" rose to 2000 per hour to height impossible but with a configuration of luck (the sigma 2x a friend of mine mounted on my 150-500:-D) I was able to photograph at least ;-)

It 'a photo where all variables were handled very well for a result nothing short of excellent.
Technically have a zoom instead of a fixed focal length made the difference between a photo and spectacular .... many sighs for the missed opportunity.

Who knows what a thrill it was to see and especially to portray these people in this situation, but it is no coincidence, only passion can lead to catches like that, my heartfelt congratulations to admire the entire picture :-)

Be thankful that you had a super-zoom:-D Pleasant introduction, the composition of the air battle and clearly caught the moment. Forget the 2x on the 150-500mm and 120-300mm os think ;-)
hello and good light, laurel

Fioregiallo Lauro and heartfelt thanks to you :-)

@ Flower: very strong emotion not only be able to portray but also the only witness! :-P

@ Laurel: no no but that was (and remains) an experiment: there were the Honey Buzzards and hawks cuckoos passing heights really sidereal (migration in full, did not stop even to take a drink:-D), the My friend had the 70-200 with the 2x and on for at least a few photos we tried to documentation. the result of course is nothing but that the species is at least recognizable ;-)
