barbagianni(tyto alba).una cosa su cui da sempre mi interrogo è il perchè un predatore notturno si sia evoluto divenendo per buona parte bianco.la cosa è assai strana in quanto solo alcuni strigiformi che vivono nell'emisfero nord sono bianchi ma lo devono ad un adattamento alla caccia sulla neve ed al ftto che operano anche di giorno nella luminosa estate artica.per il barbagianni è cosa alquanto strana.e non si può dire che la natura abbia sbagliato essendo la specie diffusa in gran parte del globo.in italia la specie si è assuefatta alla presenza umana e per riprodursi usa le vecchie costruzioni.purtroppo le nuove non sono adatte alla specie e dove non si provvede con nidi artificiali la popolazione declina fortemente. a questo si aggiungono pesticidi,incidenti con le auto e bracconaggio.a dispetto di vecchie dicerie credo che sarebbe un bellissimo vicino di casa,meglio lui dei topi! DA GUFARE IN HD!!

Bella foto , difficile da gestire con il bianco rivolto al flash e il dorso rivolto al buio, molto bravo.
Per la colorazione io suppongo che i notturni contino più sul mimetismo sonoro che su quello dei loro colori, nell'oscurità è molto più importante il volo silenziosissimo che la colorazione.
Diversamente quelli che abitano le regioni del nord, che hanno molte più ore di luce, devono adottare entrambe i sistemi.
