Sono sempre molto carini i grillai, bella inquadratura Antonio, somigliano molto ai gheppi, io purtroppo quest' anno non sono riuscito a fotografarli, perché l'ho sempre fatto...ma il nido che ho seguito per anni..si trova tra un sito di nidificazione di Allocco e vicinissimo al Barbagianni per cui puoi immaginare che fine hanno fatto i piccoli..purtroppo.

They are always very nice the lesser kestrel, beautiful shot Antonio, a lot like kestrels, I unfortunately this year 'I could not photograph them, because I've always done ... but the nest that I have followed for anni..si located between a nesting site close to the Barn Owl and so you can imagine what happened to the piccoli..purtroppo.

Mi sa che ho capito male. Era un nido di gheppi non grillai ? Allora niente colonia e hanno dovuto soccombere.

A prima vista mi sono sembrati gheppi, infatti ho modificato il mio commento successivamente , poi contro un uccello notturno che caccia nell'oscurità i poveri rapaci diurni non possono fare nulla per difendersi e in special modo difronte ad un allocco piuttosto aggressivo e territoriale.
