Progettata nel 1718 e ultimata solo nel 1747, su disegni dell'architetto Re.In stile barocco, sorge sullo stesso luogo dove già sorgeva un omonimo oratorio, con pianta a croce greca. All'interno ci sono decorazioni opera dei pittori Bettola e Vacca, mentre gli stalli del coro provengono dalla chiesa di S.Domenico, dalla quale furono asportati nel 1823 dopo la cessione della chiesa alla Congregazione di Carità. In occasione dei festeggiamenti per il bicentenario della consacrazione, nel 1947, l'edificio venne restaurato per iniziativa del rettore, can.Giuseppe Barra.
