la domanda di palmy è direi corretta. in pratica canon e nikon hanno un tiraggio differente.
il tiraggio è in pratica la distanza tra il sensore e il bocchettone dove attacchi l'ottica.
per alcune ottiche è necessario quando il tiraggio è piu' corto usare degli anelli o tubi di prolunga per
riportare il tutto al tiraggio normale e quindi avere la possibilità di messa a fuoco all'infinito etc etc.

a volte per ovviare al problema tiraggio con la possibilità che l'ottica tocchi sensore o specchio si usano dei normali tubi di prolunga : in questo caso si avrebbe non piu' l'ottica nativa ma una nuova ottica "macro" che non accetterebbe piu' il fuoco all'infinito e che avrebbe una minima maf inferiore.

Nel tuo caso sei fortunata che i tuoi trioplan non ti creano questi problemi. a volte è proprio questione di mezzo millimetro e un anello adattatore che sia magari mezzo millimetro piu' lungo di un altro fa la differenza. se sai dove lo hai comprato io gli darei questa info al palmy cosi sfamiamo la sua fame di informazioni MrGreen

ora ho meglio compreso i termini della domanda di Palmy.
Personalmente non ho certo acquistato i Trioplan per avere la messa a fuoco ad infinito e sapevo già che, diversamente da Canon, non avrei avuto nemmeno la conferma di messa a fuoco.
Ero anche consapevole che con attacco M42 non avrei corso alcun rischio correlato a sensore e specchio.
L'attacco Exacta invece non è il più consigliato per Nikon...tempo fa lessi qui un articolo su come adattarlo...te lo linko dovesse interessarti.

Per quanto concerne i tubi di prolunga, in alcuni scatti ho addizionato l'obiettivo con un anello da 12mm (da alcuni test ho verificato che l'aggiunta di ulteriori anelli fa sì che la rotondità del bokeh tenda ad ovalizzarsi).
Qui un esempio di aggiunta del tubo da 12mm.

Infine quando ho acquistato i due Trioplan erano già forniti di anello adattatore M42/Nikon ma in rete ne trovi diversi a prezzi contenuti tipo questo:
