,

Mali village Orissa - India Dicembre 2010

Thank you! As you know too ... in India people are particularly helpful and above all do not make affect the presence of a camera and I'm very spontaneous, and the best part is that older people often continue to do what they were doing ...

Availability I found photographing in India I have not found this winter in Morocco where people were much more reluctant to have his picture taken and why I very sorry because of colors and special people from there I could bring home some really interesting shot!

Nonmi I never tire of saying that 'India is special ...
In Africa many times is not the same thing because in many places the tourist presence is most urgently needed, but also for cultural regions .. however, more than once, in the less frequented, I had wonderful experiences.

Thanks Bosphorus!

And I agree that what makes the photo above is the 'eye ...

For my taste there is only a little 'too little pp! :-D:-D:-D:-D

I have printed this and other photos for a little show and I 'm looking forward to seeing how they came because in the end I think the real result you can judge by the press.

When they told me not to photograph the natives because they feared that the soul is carried away, I thought it was stupid, but seeing these faces I began to doubt that they were right? Not being able to comment on all your pictures, I decided that this is not chosen at random, as in my opinion embodies the essence of the other. To tell the truth is the second time that I stop, but the emotional impact it causes is the same .. In these eyes I can read us in a mixture of sensations that I find it difficult to describe, perhaps because these faces looking at me lay bare my self, I even subjection to look into their eyes. Eyes that speak and tell better than words, their entire existence in a mix of resignation, sadness, pride, defiance, but also curiosity, love and innocenza ... is like taking a trip Pindaric between fantasy and reality, missing only the olfactory perception as to look good I can also feel like a distant echo, the sounds, the sounds and even their voices ... it's only suggestion? ... maybe. I find in these faces, an analogy with the portraits of Native Americans, enclosed in anthologies of the great photographic archives of the Smithsonian Institute, which collects tens of thousands of snapshots of what was once the largest esoteric people on the planet, now reduced to a few tens of thousands of human and relegated to local folcklore ... How sad to get rid of this heritage of humanity! Your camera has the eye of the soul, I do not think it is an exaggeration to say that, probably be able to collect what you can see with the eye of your self, that's probably because theseYour photos are so intensely human.

All the best, Joe

Hello Beppe,
I took a little 'time to answer because yours is one of those comments that really make a great pleasure and I are thinking of having accomplished something really good with pictures.
When I travel I leave easily take from 'enthusiasm for what I see and I always try to put myself in a respectful manner possible to the subjects I photograph, and when it is able to convey all of this, it is a great satisfaction.
Thank you really some beautiful words! :-|
