Occhi che parlano e che raccontano meglio delle parole, tutta la loro esistenza in un misto di rassegnazione, malinconia, fierezza, sfida, ma anche curiosità, amore e innocenza... è come fare un viaggio pindarico tra fantasia e realtà, manca solo la percezione olfattiva poichè a guardarli bene riesco anche a percepire come in un eco lontano, i suoni, i rumori e persino le loro voci... che sia solo suggestione? ... può darsi. Trovo in questi visi, un'analogia con quei ritratti di Nativi Americani, racchiusi nelle antologie del grande archivio fotografico dello Smithsonian Institute, che colleziona decine di migliaia di istantanee di quello che un tempo era il più grande popolo esoterico del pianeta, ora ridotto a poche decine di migliaia di esseri e relegati al folcklore locale... che tristezza disfarsi di questo patrimonio di umanita!
